Nestled in the Arcadia area, the Murphy House presented a unique challenge: marrying its remarkable historic character with the comforts of contemporary living. My work centered on preserving the charm of its 18-inch adobe walls, the artistry of the terrazzo floors, and the elegance of the wrought iron detailing. The updates seamlessly integrate modern amenities, creating a space that pays homage to the past while being thoroughly livable today.
